from Anne
Pretty and foresty from Finland. The paths through the swamp - that you see in the card - are called pitkospunt. In no time I'll speak Suomi :).
Thank you, Anne!

from Olli-Pekka
This nice pigeon comes from Finland, from an 8 year old. Actually, his mother is writting the postcards (both writting and English language are a bit of a challenge for the moment). Nice project for the two of them!
Thank you, Olli-Pekka!

from Snjezana
This is a postcard coming from Osijek. One of my dearest friends, Ksenija, is from Osijek. This is a small world, isn't it?
Thank you, Snjezana!

I've been to Amsterdam. And it is easy to find beautiful images of the city, as it is picture perfect!
Thank you for the card, Chantal.

to Smitje
The is the card I've sent to the Netherlands arrived on Smitje's Postcrossing blog.
It is an image of old Bucharest taken in the late '20s. This part is still the same, only the cars and the ads updated.
The stamps were a pain - the post office was out of exact value stamps and they gave me all these, that took a lot of space.

I received my first postcrossing card today. Coming from Seija, in Finland. Written on January 5th. I have decided not to share what people are writting to me.
Thank you, Seija!

Welcome
Welcome to my postcrossing weblog.
Postcrossing is an online community that gathered with the purpose of exchanging postcards through the normal mail. The community is large enough (39000 users) and has users from all over the world. The rules are quite simple (read them here) and you end up with sending and receiving many postcards to and from people you know only by a breif profile page. It puts the excitment back into your mailbox.
I am a member of post crossing since December 18th, 2007. I will use this blog to keep up to date information on postcards I receive and I send.
Thank you for reading it!
